RHS hub garden at Chelsea Flower Show 2025

Lush, shady planting at Chelsea 2025: see our full plant list

We were beyond delighted to be asked by the RHS to create a garden space around their hub building on Main Avenue at Chelsea Flower Show 2025.

We’re so excited to be part of the show this year, it’s our first time creating a garden at Chelsea, and we can’t wait to bring a bit of our design and vibes to the Flower Show, and to build a space for so many visitors to see (a perfect introduction for us, without the stress of being judged!)

We wanted to showcase our favourite planting style: a lush selection of shady /semi-shady plants, with a special spotlight on some sumptuous ferns – always one of our very favourite plants to use. The garden will highlight the kinds of plants that we love to use in our client’s gardens and in our own spaces, and which thrive especially well in our damp and not always hugely sunny part of the world in Swansea. Lush planting, with plenty of green, striking foliage, and some shade-loving flowers popping up throughout, including plenty of towering foxgloves. It’s the type of shady, woodland planting that we adore, and we’re really excited to bring it to Chelsea!

The sustainability of the garden beyond the show was really important to us, as it is to the RHS and the ethos of Chelsea moving forward. All of the plants that we’re using in the garden will be relocated to a charity project we’ve just started work on in Swansea. Matthew’s House is an amazing community project, that provides meals and socialising spaces to anyone in the local community in need, including homeless people. A new garden build is just underway that will significantly improve the outdoor space, and the timings have worked perfectly to relocate the plants from the Chelsea garden to the Matthew’s House garden.

The build at Chelsea took place this week, and it was so exciting to see our designs come to life! Do drop by and take a look if you’re visiting the flower show this year or take a look at our plant list for full details of all the plants we’re using.

It was brilliant to be working with some of our old friends from Uni again too. The team at GRDN (grdndesign.co.uk) in London were absolutely amazing, as was Chris from Camscapes Landscaping (camscapeslandscaping.co.uk) who has just set up his own landscaping company in Norfolk.

Joe and I want to say a massive thanks to everyone who helped us: Andy, Pete, Paul, Chris, Sam, Sabrina, Claire and Leo. We couldn’t have done it without you!

We had so much fun at the build, getting to see the set-up at Chelsea was amazing, and we had a real laugh with all of our team too! Take a look at some of our behind-the-scenes pics here:
